Clothespin Angels

I’ve been up all night making more ornaments for my tree. I finally came up with something I liked for the wooden clothespins … they are so cute and pretty easy once you figure out the details! ha! My little angels are just waiting in assembly line for various pieces of their outfits. I’ll post the juicy details later – tree takes priority right now 😉

The magical transformation captured on digital!

Close up of one – still waiting for her face (if I decide to put a little face on her):

These are fun to create! My daughter is going to make one for herself (she is 6 years old) …. I used scrap fabric in a 4X4″ square for the dress, ribbon for waist, lace for trim. The wings are wired ribbon 8″ long folded and squeezed together in center. Her arms come from one 4″ tube (length) that is wrapped around back and brought forward in front. Her hair is jute and her bouquet is for another post!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day! Happy creating – Melinda
