Another quick card – used my CB to create orange felt blossoms … green craft foam swirls …. fun springtime theme. I just wish my picture looked better! I’m on the search for my camera’s manual – aargh!!!! Anyhoo …. we have sod on the way!!! Woo Hoo!!! I’m going to have a backyard on Weds! Have a great weekend everyone! -Melinda

Happy Mother’s Day!!!! I am hanging out at home – we have a backyard to finish! So a quick post of another card I created for my club.
Alas, another card made for club! This one was fun – I created a window and then suspended my cutouts between the white mesh (drywall tape). A little different …
Every month I join a group of friends at Cindy’s Simple Stuff to stamp. We call ourselves the Mad Hatters and meet the 2nd Friday. I love hanging out with these gals and today was extra special for all of us. One of the ladies recently lost everything including her home to a fire. Well, we came together and surprised her with an overflowing basket of goodies to jump start her stamping! Love the feeling of bringing joy to someone – especially when you know that stamping and creating provides the release we all can relate to!!! So it was a great day today! Love you Harriet!!!!!
In addition to stamping, we all make cards to exchange with one another. Six total for each of us in the group! So I’m posting one of my cards that I created for today:
Some of the materials I used were craft foam (green), drywall tape (white), metal paper (silver), felt (pink): I put the foam, metal and felt through my CB (Cuttle Bug) to get the shapes on the card. The inside of the card used the reverse scrap from the metal flower.
My SU! supplies were For a Friend Hostess Stamp, Fire Rhinestone Brads, Tempting Turquoise, Chocolate Chip and Regal Rose Card Stock, Chocolate Chip and Regal Rose Ink, Scallop Circle Punch. -Mel
We just got back last night from a fun mini-vacation at the Great Wolf Lodge – a brand new waterpark just finished in our community! The kids had a blast!!!! And I enjoyed myself just watching them – my daughter couldn’t stop grinning from ear to ear! Fun FUN stuff! Now I can settle in and get my photos ready – it’s time to scrap!!!!!! Woo Hoo! -Melinda
